The trial of Vugar Abuzarov, accused of brutally murdering his relative, has concluded at the Sumgayit Heavy Crimes Court. He was sentenced to 17 years in prison.
The incident occurred in the village of Saray, Absheron district. Abuzarov had hired his relative, Adil, to renovate his home. A dispute erupted during the work.
Adil threw a glass container at Abuzarov, who then grabbed a kitchen knife and stabbed Adil 14 times. After the killing, Abuzarov called his brother and later surrendered to police.
The court found him guilty and sentenced him to 17 years of imprisonment.
