A court case between prominent attorney Parviz Mammadov and the Azerbaijan Land Transport Agency (AYNA) has concluded.
The attorney parked his car on Bulbul Avenue and paid a parking fee via AzParking, but later received a 20 manat fine from traffic police for stopping in a prohibited area.
Mammadov argued that the 2 manat parking fee was unjustified since the area was marked as a no-stopping zone.
AYNA claimed the fee was legal, but the court ruled in favor of the attorney.
AYNA must now pay the 2 manat parking fee and 30 manat in court costs.
