A horrific murder occurred in Baku in the early morning hours.
According to reports, the incident took place on May 25 in a residence in the Bakikhanov settlement of Sabunchu district. An unknown person entered the house with the intent of robbery and stabbed the homeowners – Sabir Aliyev (born 1946) and his wife. The couple died at the scene.
Police operations led to the arrest of Murad Niftaliyev (born 1997), who is suspected of committing the crime. He has been handed over to investigators.
An investigation is underway.
