A tragic incident occurred in Baku's Binəqədi district. Taleh Gurbanov, 30, stabbed his brother-in-law Galbinur Mammadov, 37, during a wedding party, resulting in death.
The event took place in the 28 May settlement. According to reports, an argument broke out between the two relatives at the wedding table. Mammadov died at the scene from his injuries.
Relatives stated that the two were not only in-laws but also close friends. They appeared friendly earlier in the evening, but the argument escalated to murder later.
Some relatives attributed the incident to alcohol consumption. The Binəqədi District Prosecutor's Office has launched a criminal investigation.
