A fire that broke out in an open area on Babek Avenue in Baku's Nizami district has been extinguished.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) reported to Oxu.Az that firefighters responded quickly, preventing the flames from spreading.
The fire burned bushes and wood waste over 2 hectares. Surrounding areas, including a wooded area, were protected.
The incident occurred at 485 Babek Avenue. According to initial reports, the fire engulfed a dry grassy area. MES personnel were dispatched and the fire was extinguished in a short time.
