A severe car crash occurred in Baku's Nizami district. A Range Rover and a Mercedes collided on Bashir Bunyatov Street.

According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, rescuers freed two people trapped in the deformed Mercedes. Driver Shikhbala Ahmadov and passenger Elsevar Jabbarov were handed over to an ambulance.

An investigation is underway. High speed is believed to be the cause.
