Suspects have been arrested for stealing $120,000 from a passenger in a taxi in Baku's Binəqədi district.
On June 4, police received a report about the theft of $120,000 from a passenger in a BYD car. Officers detained the driver, Afsan Mammadov, and his accomplice, Samir Beylarli.
Investigation revealed that the driver knew the victim had a large sum of money and conspired with Beylarli to stage a theft when the passenger alighted.
Necessary investigative measures are ongoing.
