The trial of Ali Aliyev, accused of brutally murdering his fellow villager, has ended at the Lankaran Heavy Crimes Court.
According to the indictment, the incident occurred in Moranli village, Sabirabad. After a quarrel at a wedding, Rustam Aliyev insulted and hit Ali.
Returning home, Ali decided to take revenge. He went to Rustam's neighborhood and called him out. When Rustam appeared, Ali stabbed him 33 times with a kitchen knife, then decapitated him.
Ali surrendered to the police. It was revealed he had recently been released from prison.
