A body of a person with mental issues was found in a canal in Tovuz district.

The incident occurred in the village of Duz Jirdakhan. The body of Sarkhan Demirov, born in 1987, was discovered in a local canal.

Rescuers from the Ministry of Emergency Situations were dispatched. Police and prosecutors are investigating.

Preliminary findings suggest an accident. The body was recovered from the water.
