Bridge collapses on Baku-Alyat road

At around 4 PM today, a bridge collapsed on the Baku-Alyat highway near the Gobustan settlement.

A truck fell into the collapsed section.

The incident caused a massive traffic jam.

According to the State Agency for Azerbaijan Automobile Roads (AAYDA), staff have been dispatched to the scene and safety measures are in place.
