A serious traffic accident occurred in Astara district.
The incident took place on the Takhtanakaran-Hamusham village road. A VAZ-2107 driven by Tarlan Eyvazov, a resident of Nilesha village, rolled down a height into a ravine.
The driver died at the scene. Three passengers - Azer Rzayev (born 1977), Ibrahim Mammadov (born 1980), and Nazim Aliyev (born 1980) sustained injuries.
The injured were taken to Lankaran District Central Hospital. Azer Rzayev, in critical condition, was placed in the intensive care unit, while the others are being treated in the emergency department.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
