The water level in the Kura River passing through the Samux district has risen over the past month.
Oxu.Az reports citing "Qafqazinfo" that the situation is becoming especially dangerous in the villages of Qaraağaclı and Kürqırağı.
Part of the forests along the river have already been flooded. Additionally, agricultural lands are at risk of flooding.
The cause is continuous rainfall in Ganja and surrounding regions.
It should be noted that unstable weather conditions persist in the area.
