A woman's body has been discovered in a lake in the Goranboy district.
The incident occurred during the afternoon in the village of Safikurd.
The body of Sevda Nabiyeva, born in 1973, a resident of the village, was found in the lake. It was retrieved from the water and handed over to the relevant authorities.
Nabiyeva worked as a doctor at the Goranboy Emergency and Urgent Medical Aid Center.
The Goranboy District Prosecutor's Office has launched an investigation into the incident.
