Fatal car crash in Lankaran: One dead

A fatal traffic accident has occurred in Lankaran.

According to Oxu.Az, the incident took place in the village of Shaglakucha.

Nicat Soltanzade, a resident of Lankaran, lost control of his KIA Sorento and struck Khazar Shukurov, a 1965-born resident of Shaglakucha, who was standing by the road. The KIA then collided with a stationary VAZ-2107.

The pedestrian and driver were taken to the hospital with various injuries.

Kh. Shukurov died in the hospital.

An investigation is underway.
