Former MTN General Dies

Major General Alimusa Aliyev, former head of the Personnel Department of the abolished National Security Ministry (MTN), has died at the age of 71.

He was known as the right-hand man of former MTN chief Eldar Mahmudov. In 2016, he faced bribery allegations but denied all charges.

The deceased will be buried today.
