A taxi driver was detained in Baku for carrying an automatic rifle in his car.

Police stopped V.Musayev, born 1991, driving a Changan Qiyuan A05 on Garayev Avenue in the Nizami district.

A search uncovered a Kalashnikov AK-74 assault rifle, 6 rounds of ammunition, and one magazine.

The driver mainly transported Arab tourists visiting Baku. He was sentenced to 1 year in prison.
