A burglary occurred in a house in Baku's Khatai district.
The victim reported to the police that over 10,000 manats were stolen from his apartment.
Khatai District Police officers detained 39-year-old Taleh Mukhtarov, previously convicted, on suspicion of committing the crime.
Investigation revealed that Mukhtarov used part of the stolen money to shop at brand clothing stores.
An investigation is ongoing.
