A midnight brawl in Baku has left one person dead and another injured.
The incident occurred on the night of June 7 in the Pirshagi settlement of Sabunchu district. Sakit Piriyev (born 1999) argued with his acquaintances Mazahir Khalefov (born 1986) and Balaga Aghayev (born 1983). The argument escalated into a fight.
Allegedly, Piriyev used a knife to stab Khalefov in the chest and injured Aghayev multiple times. Both were taken to the hospital, but Khalefov died from his wounds. Aghayev is receiving treatment.
Police have detained Piriyev. A criminal case has been initiated.
