Heavy rains have caused flooding in Nakhchivan city, creating severe difficulties for residents in several areas.
According to Oxu.Az, Baku TV's footage shows the situation. One resident said: "This is our neighborhood; we can't enter our homes. The sewage system burst at our doorstep, and water flooded our houses. No matter who we call, no one responds."
Another resident, a retiree, stated: "The water rises to one and a half meters, flooding our homes. The floors are rotting, and the houses are in terrible condition. I live in water. How much money can we spend on materials?"
The Nakhchivan City Executive Authority reported that strong winds and heavy rains caused damage across the city, with street flooding and broken tree branches. Special equipment has been deployed to address the issues. The City Greening Service has removed fallen trees and branches. In flooded areas, water drainage is underway, and Emergency Ministry equipment has been mobilized near the Railway Station.
