A pedestrian died after being hit by a car in Shamkir. The accident occurred in Dellar Cayir village.

A tragic road accident occurred in Shamkir. A car hit and killed a 62-year-old pedestrian.

According to Oxu.Az citing "Report", the incident took place in the village of Dellar Cayir.

Ilkin Huseynov (born 2008), driving a VAZ car, struck fellow villager Ramazan Aliyev (born 1964). The pedestrian was taken to hospital but could not be saved.

An investigation is underway.
