A person stranded in the Arpachay River in Nakhchivan has been rescued by emergency responders.

According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the incident occurred near Yuxarı Daşarx village in Sharur district.

Elmir Jafarov (born 1987) was trapped while deepening the riverbed with a tractor when a sudden flood hit.

Rescuers promptly intervened and saved the citizen.
