In Saatly district, shepherd Nahid Tahmazov was arrested for secretly selling over 2,000 livestock belonging to farmer Kamal Karimov, causing damages exceeding 700,000 manat.
He sold the sheep, lambs, and goats, using the money for personal needs. The damage was calculated based on animal weight and market meat prices.
After the farmer's complaint to the prosecutor's office, Nahid was detained. He is charged under Article 179.4 (particularly large-scale embezzlement) of the Criminal Code.
If found guilty, he faces 10 to 14 years in prison.
