An initial report about a fire in Baku city, Sabunchu district, Mashtaga settlement was received via the Emergency Situations Ministry's "112" hotline.

According to the ministry's statement to Oxu.Az, forces of the State Fire Protection Service were immediately dispatched to the area.

The fire was contained shortly. Firefighting measures are ongoing. More details will follow.

A strong fire started in Baku. The incident was recorded in Mashtaga settlement of Sabunchu district.

Emergency Situations Ministry's firefighting forces are carrying out operational measures at the address.
