A strong wind observed since yesterday has felled 40 trees in Baku.
This was reported by the Baku City Greening Management Union in response to a query from Oxu.Az.
It was noted that a total of 104 calls were received on the union’s hotline due to the strong wind.
As a result of the strong wind that lasted since last night, 40 trees were uprooted and branches of 64 trees were broken. So far, 39 trees have been cleared from the areas, and broken branches have been removed. Due to the changing weather conditions, Baku City Greening Management Union employees are working in enhanced mode.
