The preliminary investigation into the case of the 10th-grade student who shot and seriously wounded his teacher at the "Idrak" Lyceum has been completed.
After a four-month inquiry, the charges against the accused student have been upgraded.
The investigation concluded that the student attempted to murder his teacher with hooligan motives. Based on this, the charge was changed to attempted murder with hooliganism.
The student's father, Samir Shirinov, also gave testimony and was questioned about his son's behavior and the crime.
Additionally, as previously reported, the wounded teacher has forgiven the student, and a reconciliation has been reached between the parties.
The court investigation is expected to begin in the coming days.
