A serious accident occurred on the Baku-Quba-Russian border toll road.
The incident took place in the Shabran district. The driver, a woman, lost control of her Toyota after falling asleep. The car crashed into a concrete barrier and overturned.
The woman and her daughter sustained injuries. They were taken to Khachmaz Central District Hospital.
Preliminary reports indicate drowsy driving as the cause. An investigation is underway.
