Zakir Hasanov presents ranks to new generals

Defense Minister Colonel-General Zakir Hasanov met with servicemen who were awarded senior military ranks by Presidential decree on June 26.

Oxu.Az reports that the decree awarding the rank of "Major General" was read, and the officers were presented with their new ranks.

The minister conveyed the Supreme Commander-in-Chief's congratulations and wished them success.

The awarded officers expressed gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev and the Ministry of Defense.
