The UK Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) has issued its final report on the Phase 2 review of the proposed merger between Getty Images (NYSE:GETY) and Shutterstock.
The CMA completed its in-depth investigation, but details of the findings or required remedies were not disclosed.
Getty Images shares trade at $0.71, down 59% over the past year and near their 52-week low of $0.67. The company has a market capitalization of $299.51 million.
Regulatory approvals are necessary for the transaction to close. Both companies have previously filed registration statements and proxy materials with the SEC.
Getty Images' Class A common stock is listed on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker NYSE:GETY.
