NerdWallet, Inc. (NASDAQ:NRDS) announced the appointment of Teresa Chia as an independent director, effective immediately, filling the vacancy left by Jennifer Ceran.
Chia will serve on the Audit Committee. The board confirmed her independence under Nasdaq and SEC rules.

At the annual meeting, shareholders elected four directors: Tim Chen, Lynne M. Laube, Anthony Ling, and Kenneth T. McBride. Deloitte & Touche LLP was ratified as auditor.
