The company disclosed the leadership change in a press release statement filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. Carrasco brings experience in large-scale, route-based service industries.

He previously served as President of WM Healthcare Solutions and Senior Vice President of Strategy at WM (formerly Waste Management, Inc.). He managed operations spanning over 200 branches and more than 10,000 employees across multiple countries.

Carrasco also oversaw the integration of Stericycle, a $7.2 billion acquisition. He holds a BBA in Marketing and an MBA in Operations Management from the University of Houston.

Alain Moffroid, who served as interim CEO for North America, will remain on the leadership team to support Carrasco through the end of 2027.

Mike Duffy, CEO of Rentokil Initial, said: "I am pleased to welcome Rafa to Rentokil Initial. He has an impressive track record in field-based, recurring service operations."

Carrasco stated: "I'm delighted to be stepping into this role and looking forward to working with the team to drive operational excellence."
