Rentokil Initial plc (FTSE:RTO / NYSE:RTO) announced Thursday the appointment of Rafael "Rafa" Carrasco as Chief Executive Officer for its North America business, effective August 3.
The company disclosed the leadership change in a press release statement filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. Carrasco brings experience in large-scale, route-based service industries.
He previously served as President of WM Healthcare Solutions and Senior Vice President of Strategy at WM (formerly Waste Management, Inc.). He managed operations spanning over 200 branches and more than 10,000 employees across multiple countries.
Carrasco also oversaw the integration of Stericycle, a $7.2 billion acquisition. He holds a BBA in Marketing and an MBA in Operations Management from the University of Houston.
Alain Moffroid, who served as interim CEO for North America, will remain on the leadership team to support Carrasco through the end of 2027.
