Vornado Realty Trust (NYSE:VNO) announced the results of its 2026 Annual Meeting of Shareholders held on Thursday. The real estate investment trust has a market capitalization of $6.56 billion, with shares trading at $31.98.
At the meeting, shareholders voted on four proposals. As of the record date, 188,547,756 common shares were eligible to vote, with approximately 95% represented.
First, shareholders elected all ten nominees to the Board of Trustees. The elected nominees include Steven Roth, Candace K. Beinecke, Michael D. Fascitelli, and others. Each nominee received a majority of votes cast in favor.
Second, shareholders ratified the appointment of Deloitte & Touche LLP as independent auditor for fiscal 2026. The proposal received 171,255,731 votes in favor, 6,538,657 against.
Third, a non-binding advisory resolution on executive compensation was approved. There were 162,217,503 votes for, 5,799,240 against.
Fourth, shareholders approved the company’s 2026 Omnibus Share Plan. The proposal received 131,158,558 votes for, 37,591,996 against.
Vornado has maintained dividend payments for 36 consecutive years, offering a current yield of 2.34%.
