Wyndham Hotels & Resorts (NYSE:WH) announced several updates on Monday, including executive transitions, annual meeting results, and a health update from its CEO.
President and CEO Geoff Ballotti informed employees he will undergo treatment for Multiple Myeloma. Ballotti stated he intends to continue his duties largely as normal during treatment.
The announcement comes as Wyndham maintains solid financial footing, with a market capitalization of about $6 billion and a gross profit margin of 61%.
Separately, Chief Accounting Officer Nicola Rossi will depart on July 31, 2026. Christopher Androski, currently Senior Vice President and Controller, will succeed Rossi.
At the 2026 Annual Meeting held May 14, shareholders elected all nine director nominees. They also approved executive compensation and ratified Deloitte & Touche LLP as auditor.
A stockholder proposal regarding written consent was approved.
