Canadian forward Mitchell Marner of the Vegas Golden Knights scored the fastest hat-trick in Stanley Cup finals history.
According to Oxu.Az, this was reported by the National Hockey League (NHL) press service.
The 29-year-old Canadian scored three goals in 6 minutes and 10 seconds against the Carolina Hurricanes, breaking Maurice Richard's record.
The eight-time Stanley Cup champion Richard had scored three goals in 6 minutes and 21 seconds in the 1957 playoff final.
Marner also became the second hockey player in NHL history to score four points (3+1) in a single period of a final series game. Previously, only Frank Foyston had achieved this in 1919.
