New temperature records in Belarus and Slovakia: Belarus surpasses 40°C, Slovakia reaches 41°C, breaking past records.

In Belarus, the temperature exceeded 40°C for the first time in history. The record was registered in Pinsk between 14:00 and 14:20 local time.

The previous record in Belarus was 38.9°C in Gomel on August 8, 2010. In Slovakia, a new record of 41°C was set on June 29 at the Turnya-nad-Bodvou station.
