Brazilian midfielder Casemiro has set a record as the player with the most yellow cards in the final stages of football World Cups.

According to Oxu.Az citing "Euro-football", the player received his fifth yellow card across three World Cups during a round of 16 match against Japan.

He first appeared for Brazil in the World Cup in 2018, held in Russia.

Four years later, Casemiro represented his national team in the World Cup in Qatar, and is currently participating in the tournament hosted by the US, Canada, and Mexico.
