The third match of the Round of 32 at the 2026 FIFA World Cup took place.

In Foxborough, USA, Germany faced Paraguay.

The match ended 1-1 after regulation and extra time. Paraguay took the lead in the 42nd minute through Julio Enciso, while Germany equalized in the 54th minute via Kai Havertz.

Paraguay won the penalty shootout, eliminating Germany from the tournament.

Paraguay will now face the winner of France vs Sweden in the Round of 16.
