Bond.az - Stifel raised its price target on Nvidia Corp. (NASDAQ:NVDA) to $282 from $250 while maintaining a Buy rating on the stock.

The chipmaker reported first-quarter revenue of $81.6 billion, up 85% year-over-year and above the $78.7 billion consensus estimate. Adjusted earnings per share came in at $1.87, beating the $1.75 consensus. The strong performance reflects revenue growth of 65% over the last twelve months, with the company maintaining an impressive gross profit margin of 71%.

Nvidia guided second-quarter revenue to $91.0 billion with adjusted gross margin of 75.0% and operating expenses of $8.3 billion, all above consensus expectations. Stifel introduced fiscal year 2029 estimates in conjunction with the price target increase.

The firm said Nvidia’s Vera CPU provides incremental revenue visibility of $20 billion and a total addressable market of $200 billion, on top of a $1 trillion floor. The new reporting framework quantifies the company’s diversification thesis, according to Stifel.

Stifel believes Nvidia is positioned in markets that combine to yield a total addressable market exceeding $100 billion exiting 2025 and a longer-term opportunity that could exceed $1 trillion. The firm expects near-to-medium term opportunities to come primarily from high-performance computing, hyperscale and cloud data center, and enterprise and edge computing.

According to Bond.az analysis, the stock currently appears undervalued based on Fair Value calculations. With shares delivering a 70% return over the past year and a Financial Health score rated as "EXCELLENT," investors can access deeper insights through comprehensive Pro Research Reports available for NVDA and 1,400+ other US equities.

In other recent news, NVIDIA Corporation reported its financial results for the first quarter of fiscal 2027, surpassing both earnings and revenue forecasts. The company achieved an earnings per share (EPS) of $1.87, exceeding the expected $1.77. Additionally, NVIDIA reported revenue of $82 billion, surpassing the $79.19 billion forecast. These results highlight the company’s ability to outperform market expectations.
