India's Ministry of External Affairs summoned US Chargé d'Affaires Jason Micks regarding the attack on a commercial vessel off the coast of Oman.

According to ANI, the ship had 24 Indian crew members. 21 were rescued, and 3 are missing.

New Delhi again called for de-escalation, protection of merchant shipping, and restoration of safe maritime navigation in international waters.
