Bond.az reports that the U.S. and Iran are discussing a plan to open the Strait of Hormuz about 30 days after reaching a deal to end hostilities, according to Nikkei.
Iran would clear mines from the strait within 30 days of the agreement, allowing ships from all nations to navigate freely. Iran would stop collecting transit fees.
The ceasefire agreed in early April would be extended for 60 days, with talks on Iran's nuclear program to be held during this pause.
