Based on the 2026 bilateral cooperation plan signed between the Ministries of Defense of Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan, a military delegation from Kyrgyzstan visited Azerbaijan.

During the visit, Major General Azer Ibrahimov, Head of the Main Department of Internal Security and Investigation of the Ministry of Defense, met with the Kyrgyz guests.
The delegation was briefed on the department's activities and a presentation on internal security was delivered.
The sides discussed the current state and development prospects of military security cooperation between the two countries, emphasizing the importance of mutual experience exchange.
Current topics were also addressed, and questions from the delegation were answered.
At the end, gifts were exchanged and a commemorative photo was taken.
