The opening ceremony of the "Caucasus Eagle - 2026" joint tactical-special exercise involving special forces from Azerbaijan, Turkey, and Georgia was held at the Mukhrovani military base near Tbilisi.
According to the Ministry of Defense, Azerbaijani Ambassador to Georgia Faig Guliyev, military attaché representatives, and other high-ranking guests attended the event.
During the ceremony, a minute of silence was observed for fallen soldiers, national anthems were played, and flags were raised.
Speakers emphasized that the exercise plays a crucial role in joint planning and experience exchange, enhancing combat readiness and regional security cooperation.
