Baku TV's 'Military Chronicle' program highlighted the growing role of unmanned systems in modern warfare and Turkey's 'SİVRİSİNEK' smart munition system.
The system can remain airborne for long periods, track targets, and deliver precise strikes. It has a range of 900-1000 km and flight duration over 8-9 hours, equipped with AI-based target recognition and modern guidance systems.
A key aspect is Azerbaijan's potential involvement in production. According to Baykar, new-generation unmanned systems including SİVRİSİNEK will be manufactured in Azerbaijani factories, marking a new phase in defense industry cooperation.
Such platforms are considered key elements of future warfare. AI-supported, long-range, mass-produced systems are shaping the combat capabilities of modern armies.
