Bank of America (BAC) remains a key focus for investors. Analysts highlight its diversified business model and strong net interest income growth.
The bank operates in four segments: consumer banking, wealth management, investment banking, and trading. This structure allows it to capitalize on multiple revenue streams.
In Q4 2025, BAC delivered strong results. Earnings per share beat consensus. Net interest income grew, fee income exceeded guidance, and credit loss provisions were lower.
With a P/E of 12.88 and PEG of 0.57, the stock trades at an attractive valuation. Net charge-offs decreased by 3 basis points, indicating stable asset quality.
At its November 2025 Investor Day, BAC set three-year targets: EPS growth exceeding 12% annually, return on tangible common equity (ROTCE) of 17-18%, and positive operating leverage of 200-300 basis points.
For 2026, it guides net interest income growth of 5-7%. A 100 basis point rate cut would reduce NII by approximately $2.2 billion.
Barclays maintains an Overweight rating with a $71 price target. The bank continues aggressive share buybacks and has raised dividends for 12 consecutive years.
