Tajikistan's Minister of Economic Development and Trade, Abdurahmon Abdurahmonzoda, announced a 200% increase in trade turnover with Azerbaijan during the Islamic Development Bank Group's annual meetings in Baku.
The minister stated that last year's trade turnover rose by approximately 200%. Growth continues in the first five months of this year. Future cooperation is expected to expand at both government and private sector levels.
The joint venture "TajAzer Trade" exports agricultural products from Tajikistan to Azerbaijan. Additionally, collaboration prospects through the Alat Free Economic Zone and Tajikistan's free economic zones were discussed.
