The U.S. said on Sunday it conducted self-defense strikes on Iranian radar and drone control sites in Iran's Goruk and Qeshm Island over the weekend.
The U.S. Central Command stated that Iran shot down a U.S. MQ-1 drone operating over international waters.
In response, U.S. fighter aircraft eliminated Iranian air defenses, a ground control station, and two one-way attack drones.
No U.S. military personnel were harmed.
The two countries had traded strikes last week as well, with Iran targeting a U.S. air base.
