Russian psychologist Yaroslav Klimov warns that the most insidious form of alcoholism is beer alcoholism. He explains the symptoms of this addiction.
According to Klimov, many perceive beer as a harmless drink. However, even those who drink 1-2 liters daily may deny their addiction.
Symptoms of beer alcoholism include daily beer consumption, inability to relax without beer, abdominal obesity, bloating, and shortness of breath. Over time, alcohol intake increases, and irritability occurs when unable to drink.
This addiction can cause chronic pancreatitis, cirrhosis, hypertension, heart attack, type 2 diabetes, and severe heart disease. The expert emphasizes: "If an evening is not an evening without beer, it's a serious signal."
