Iran has set a condition to resume negotiations with the United States in Switzerland, demanding guarantees for a cessation of military operations in Lebanon.
According to CNN, citing a diplomatic source, Iran seeks assurances that hostilities in Lebanon will cease, as per a signed agreement. Mediators are currently working to resolve the issue.
The planned talks were temporarily postponed after Israeli strikes on Lebanon, but when they will resume remains unclear.
