A television producer in London, Meg Fozzard, has lost her ability to walk due to medical negligence.

When her heart stopped, the emergency team pressed the wrong button on the defibrillator, causing a critical delay.

According to court documents obtained by Oxu.Az citing the Mirror, healthcare workers connected the wrong devices by mixing up electrode placements. This serious error delayed the necessary electric shock by eight minutes.

Her husband, Xander Font Freide, said he frantically called an ambulance and performed CPR until help arrived.

It was reported that the heart failure was caused by a previously undiagnosed condition. The 33-year-old producer now suffers from speech problems. She sued the National Health Service, won the case, and received compensation, the amount of which is confidential.

Despite her physical limitations, Meg has returned to work part-time and has taken up acrobatics.
