Japanese automaker Honda has launched a recall campaign for 880,514 vehicles in the United States due to faulty rear suspension components.
According to Reuters citing the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), the recall affects certain models of Honda Pilot, Honda Ridgeline, Honda Passport, and Acura MDX.
The defect can cause issues in the rear suspension, including the rear control arms, potentially leading to loss of vehicle control and increased crash risk.
Honda dealers will perform free diagnostics and, if necessary, repair or replace the faulty suspension components at no cost.
