Tehran has started selling its oil at 20% higher prices after the easing of US sanctions.
Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf stated on state TV that the removal of sanctions is real.
“Some called the lifting of sanctions unrealistic. Now Iranian oil is sold 20% higher and revenues are being deposited,” Qalibaf said.
He added that after the naval blockade was lifted, Iran exported over 40 million barrels of oil.
